Informational Event and Excursion

A Pellet Day took place in Kwidzyn on the 21st of September 2007. Since the possibilities of having “open doors” are still limited in Poland, BAPE organised a concerted informational event on technical application possibilities and financing of biomass heating. Regional fuel suppliers were given a platform to present their services. The event was rounded off by a visit to Górki, where the Renewable Energy Centre Kwidzyn has its headquarters. Moreover, a permanent exhibition of boilers and fuels present on the market was officially launched in the Energy Centre. From now on, the exhibition will be permanently open to the public on weekdays.

Several Events on Pellets

BAPE implemented several events from September until October. Firstly, five biomass installations could be visited by interested customers. Installing companies were present in order to inform the visitors about bioenergy. Furthermore, a small exhibition of stoves and pellets by leading producers took place at the main market in Puck. It was a great success, since everyone was attracted by the unusual display of renewable energy systems. Pellets distributing companies were present and the visitors were provided with the Regbie+ market-guides. Another information event/exhibition was held on the fourth of October where advantages of pellets were discussed. One of the exhibited stoves was fired in order to demonstrate the principle of its operation. The last site was localised in Czluchow because an important pellet stoves producing company is situated there. Visitors could see an operating stove, inform themselves about the market offer of the company and ask for precious advice.
